1. Tourist pays with cash;
2. Vendor creates distraction (talking, pointing, tip box);
3. Returns incorrect change;
4. Tourist realizes loss later.

- Distracts during payment;
- Talks or points at something;
- Gives change quickly;
- Money doesn’t match expected amount

- Count change immediately;
- Avoid distractions while paying;
- Use smaller notes;
- Stay focused during transactions
